Corona Style
I know what you have all been thinking:
“If only there was more information, another take, additional predictions, especially in the form of an internet piece written by someone who only learned the word coronavirus within the last couple months… perhaps if I read just one more article, then I would know exactly how much to be freaking out.”
Look no further.
As most of us have heard, there is an ongoing pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Very scary stuff. Because of the inadequacies of our patchwork healthcare system in the U.S. hospitals are overwhelmed, running out of life-saving equipment for patients and protective gear for employees. Many healthcare workers are being forced to reuse masks and gowns that were meant to be disposable, exposing themselves and others to infection. This is just one more preventable tragedy in the midst of many that have been uncovered by this pandemic.
It is human nature to look for a silver lining when faced with difficulty. Admittedly, it is not easy to find positives to take away from our current situation.
But, if healthcare workers are going to have to reuse equipment, and if this pandemic is going to stretch on for a whole season… why not look stunning?
We here at whatsthesitch.com are working on a new line of personal protective equipment that looks as infectious as the virus it protects you from.
There will be a variety of styles to make sure you have a garment for any occasion. We will have business suits, summer dresses, beach options, as well as more traditional hazmat-style formalwear. We are working closely with our distributors overseas and, when production is complete, this equipment will be made available to anyone working on the frontlines, free-of-charge.
If you are already satisfied with your current equipment, we are also working on a line of accessory products and fun stencils to help you make your existing outfits more lively.
No one will want to wear an eye shield when you walk into the room in our glamorous gear! We anticipate high demand so stay-tuned for further updates; you don’t want to miss your chance to make a statement at work during this spring’s pandemic.
